lyrics
I won’t run away
For my life, dismayed
I won’t be afraid
For the times we prayed
I won’t be afraid
All the nights I lay
I may lose my life
But my spirit’s on an astral plane
We been looking for the hope in a world that is hopeless
And the truth isn’t true
Because the source that it comes from really is bogus
And you’re late to realize, as your body turns frail
All your hair silver, lies
Oh my, time flies
Couldn’t really play, couldn’t really joke
Chasing these dreams, feeling so broke
Looking deep within, where’s that smoke?
Where’s that fire? Coming from the throat
This is my feeling, this is my word
This is my life, going thru the curves
Going thru the cycle, going thru the madness
Because you helped me; couldn’t really call it
I won’t be afraid
All the nights I was down
I aged
Run away
For my life
Dismay
I won’t be afraid
For the times
We prayed
I won’t be afraid
All the nights I lay
I may lose my life
But my spirit’s on an astral plane

Medicine is one of the most hauntingly beautiful albums I've ever had to privilege to hear. It helped me get more in touch with my own self, spirituality and nature. It certainly lives up to its name. The flutes, drumming and percussion are just wonderful. This is a great album to let play all the way through. pimblycharles
